  • The standard XAPHOON is characterized above all by its accuracy. It was developed for schools, bands, ensembles and for everyone who wants every instrument to sound exactly the same. The CLASSIC XAPHOON is a standardized Xaphoon. It is made in Indiana/USA, using a high-precision manufacturing process, from the same material as clarinet and oboe mouthpieces. It is an ideal entry-level instrument and cheaper than other Xaphoons.   We recommend the standard XAPHOON above all for the interaction with string and keyboard instruments, C or F flute. The C instruments are slightly shorter than the B Xaphoons, which is an advantage for smaller hands. In my experience, the standard XAPHOON can be learned well from the age of about 6 years, which is mainly due to the finger size, because the blowing.
