  • The sheep intestine core of the Passione Solo strings is manufactured by hand in a complex process in a traditional manner Passione Solo is only available in medium, but it is slightly thicker than the medium thickness of Passione. The brown peg tension of the Passione Solo G string is held longer compared to the A and D strings. This is intentional and part of the design. The longer tension at the end of the peg prevents the string from breaking in the peg box. The stretching process of the string is completed after two to three days at the latest. The peg tensioning is then located behind the upper saddle in the peg box. This is generally the case, as we have found after numerous tests with different violins. For many violins, the G string of the Passione Solo fits the first time you put.
