• Genuine early Babbitt Super Tone Master - large font number on the side, denim milling marks and polished short step baffle.In great physical condition. Tip, rails and table very clean. The sound is BIG and powerful. It’s bright, but with a lot of depth so doesn’t sound thin - on the contrary it’s a very full bodied sound. It’s simply a fantastic mouthpiece. • Fantastic playing vintage Otto Link tenor mouthpiece. This is a super tone master from the mid 70s - known as an ‘Early Babbitt’ era. This one has the original facing and hasn’t been refaced, with all the original plating intact. These are made from the same mould as Florida USA era mouthpieces, and they often play just as well as the Florida era but prices are lower. This one is a 6*, and plays brilliantly as it is. It would be a great candidate for a reface, as there is plenty of material by the tip.
