• I have a beautiful Deering Goodtime Blackgrass Special banjo, it's been set up with a new Shaller  fifth new tuning peg, it sounds great and not too heavy. It's completely Black and is the Special model with the Deering tone ring . it has some wear marks on the head from playing but this doesn't affect the quality of the sound. As the Deering advert says if you're looking for something "darker" perhaps this is the one for you. I have recently bought a Deering Eagle ii and I really don't need too many banjos. It's been well looked after and comes with a quality padded gig bag .
