The Rootmaster EVO II series also now comes with an integrated headphone preamp, allowing for quiet practice, doubling these gig-ready amps as handy practice tools. The preamp features one passive and one active input jack for use with both high and low output instruments. This creates a clear signal path to the input control, allowing for fine-tuning of the input level with Ashdown's signature VU meter. Once the signal has reached its optimum level, you can access the many features that will enhance your sound, such as B. the Shape button, the 5-band EQ and the integrated compressor. As always, the Drive control delivers delicious tube-emulated overdrive, while the Sub-Harmonics controls add further.
