The MAudio Fast Track Ultra 8-In x 8-Out audio MIDI interface offers high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, MX Core DSP mixer, and four Octane mic preamps. Featuring both analogue and digital Input/Output (6 balanced line inputs, 6 balanced analog outputs, and S/PDIF digital I/O), Fast Track Ultra allows recording on all eight channels simultaneously with 24-bit / 96kHz fidelity with low-latency. The 4 XLR microphone inputs include 2 XLR / TRS combo jacks for microphones or plugging in guitars, basses or other instruments. Fast Track Ultra features two dedicated inserts on the first two channels, giving you the ability to insert outboard effects processing before A/D conversion. The on-board MX Core DSP mixer processes eight hardware inputs and eight software returns to the eight hardware outputs, delivering flexible routing and monitoring with delay and reverb. The Fast Track Ultra features four mic pres with M-Audio Octane technology, a premium front end with low-noise, high-gain preamplification with enough channels for a variety of miking applications.
