The Clavia Nord Stage 88 is pehaps the ultimate stage piano, with 88 fully weighted keys, aftertouch, pitch stick and mod wheel. The four-output Nord Stage 88 features three distinct sound sources, organ, piano, and synth, which can be split into separate key groups across the keyboard. There are 2 independent panels ”A“ & ”B“, that can have their different settings, meaning you have access to six instrument sections and two independent effect sections for complex layering or multitimbral effects. The Clavia Nord Stage 88 also has comprehensive MIDI master keyboard features that make it a viable option as the main keyboard controller of your rig. At less than 40 lb. the Nord Stage 88 is light enough to travel, especially given the 88 hammer-action weighted keyboard.

The Clavia Nord Stage 88 contains digital recreations of the Hammond B3, VOX Continental and the Farfisa Compact Deluxe, three classic organs.The character and life of the original instruments are packaged in a robust Clavia design with modern technology.

The Clavia Nord Stage 88 contains multilayed samples of acoustic and electromechanical pianos: the Clavinet D6, Wurlitzer Model EP200A electric piano, Rhodes Mark I, II and V, Acoustic Grand-Yamaha C7 and Steinway D, Upright-Swedish Piano Factory and Yamaha M5J, Yamaha CP80 Electric Grand, Hohner Clavinet D6 with 4 pickup variations like the original,pianos ranging from concert grands to uprights to electro-mechanical classics. Samples are held in Flash Ram so are easily updated or replaced.

CLAVIA NORD STAGE 88 SYNTH SECTION
Subtractive, FM and Wavetable synthesis are offered by the Clavia Nord Stage 88, all powerful and versatile synths but with easy control over the parameters with just a few buttons and knobs. Waveforms are divided into three categories, virtual analogue, sampled digital and up to three-operator FM for a wide range of waveforms. Building lead sounds, strings and basses with the synth in the Nord Stage is easy and fun. The Synth section offers programmable memories in Synth, Pad and Bass catagories, each with 99 memory locations.
