The M-Audio MicroTrack II improves the original MicroTrack professional 2-channel mobile digital recorder with extended input gain range for recording quiet sounds, built-in analogue input limited to tame unexpected bursts of sound, 48V phantom power for pro condenser microphones, and faster file transfer rate. Quality audio capture for field recording, capturing live gigs, songwriting, education, and more.

Smaller than many cell phones, the M-Audio MicroTrack II professional 2-channel mobile digital recorder will go anywhere you need to record. But don't let its tiny size fool you. Thanks to progress in miniaturization, the M-Audio MicroTrack II in the same class as M-Audio's critically acclaimed pro audio interfaces. MicroTrack's pro-quality preamps complete with 48-volt phantom power will work with pro quality condenser microphones. Record audio all the way up to 24-bit/96kHz on the linear PCM format, or directly to compressed MP3 files. With a built-in recharagle lithium-ion battery, the MAudio MicroTrack II will give you approximately four to five hours of battery life, or three hours with +48 volt phantom power being used.

Rugged, highly mobile and lithium-ion battery powered, the M-Audio MicroTrack II is a high-fidelity 2-channel digital recorder that makes on-the-spot recording unbelievably easy. The MicroTrack II can record up to 5 hours of either uncompressed WAV or compressed MP3 file format audio to the not included CompactFlash or microdrive memory cards via 2 balanced 1/4-inch TRS mic/line or stereo 1/8" TRS mini-jack inputs. The 1/4-inch inputs offer 48V phantom power for condenser microphones, while the 1/8" input has 5V power to feed the supplied stereo T-shaped electret microphone. Or use the S/PDIF coaxial input for direct digital transfers. Level meters, analogue input limter, and 1/8-inch heaphone inputs ensure everything sounds right. LCD screen lets you select and play files easily. Record approx. 100 minutes of linear 16-bit stereo 44.1kHz WAV files to a 1GB CompactFlash card or Microdrive. The same 1GB media will store 1500 minutes of speech-quality comprerssed stereo MP3 audio at 96kbps. NO CompactFlash card or Microdrive supplied. Transfer your recordings to PC or Mac via USB 2.0 mini-connector for editing, or for WEB podcast posts. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be recharged via the USB port.
