The M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2 is an updated version of MAudio's 25-note velocity sensitive synth-action mobile USB MIDI controller keyboard with 11 fully assignable MIDI controllers, 6 transport buttons with LED display and dedicated function buttons, and 10 non-volatile memories (data is not lost when the keyboard is not powered). Perfect for controlling software programs and automating parameters.

The Oxygen 8 v2 can be plugged into and self-powered by a USB equipped Macintosh or PC computer, in putting MIDI information to the computer and outputting to an external MIDI device, an internal sound card, or software synths. The M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2 can alternately be used as a standalone performance MIDI controller or for use with other MIDI gear. The Oxygen 8 v2 is perfect for composing on the go or performing live bass lines and pads, firing samples, or triggering audio and/or visual effects. New features of the Oxygen 8 v2 include full MIDI message support, plus six transport controls that can be reassigned to any MIDI parameter.

The included Ableton Live Lite 4 music creation software records vocals and instruments, or simply drag and drop loops to Live's intuitive interface. Live's time-stretching ability will make everything sync to the beat. Live also includes MIDI implementation, multiple effects processors, soft instruments, tempo automation, VST and Audio Units support.

Powered by USB port, 6 AA batteries, or included power supply, it is light, compact, and highly portable.

The M-Audio Oxygen 8 V2 package contains the MIDI controller keyboard, 6-foot USB cable, Ableton Live Lite 4 music-making software, M-Audio Keyboard Family Drivers and Documentation CD and Printed Quick Start Guide.
