Optimized for acoustic guitar, the Zoom A2 comes with eight effects modules with 47 effects types including dynamics, filtering, modulation 9 types of reverb. and ambience, an ultra-wide frequency response of 20Hz-40kHz, a built-in drum machine with 40 rhythm patterns, a switchable automatic or manual feed-back supresser, 6-band EQ switchable to 2-band parametric EQ, and an integrated chromatic tuner with high brightness LEDs and mute tuning. With specification of 24-bit 96kHz sampling rate, 32-bit internal processing, and a frequency response extending out to 40kHz, the Zoom A2 is an acoustic guitar pedal with professional audio performance.

The Zoom A2 acoustic guitar pedal includes 12 acoustic guitar and preamp models: Martin D-28, Martin 000-18, Gibson SJ-200, Gibson J-45, Tacoma C3C, Ovation Adamas, Nylon (a Zoom original simulating the soft dound of a nylon string acoustic), Selmer Maccaferri, Dobro Model 27, National Reso-Phonic Style O, Resophonic, and Tube Preamp.
