The Korg Zero8 is an 8-channel 24-bit digital audio mixer with digital effects combined with a FireWire audio MIDI interface. Each input channel can be set for either audio mixing from a selection of sources (CD player, turntables, guitars, dynamic or condenser microphones, computers) and/or MIDI control. In addition to the mic, guitar, line and phono analogue audio inputs, the Zero8 also provides digital audio inputs from the FireWire interface.The Zero8 is ideal for live performances and studios.

As a FireWire audio MIDI interface the Xero8 provides two FireWire connections for transfering audio and MIDI data to and from a computer. Up to 16 channels In and Out of audio data transfer are supported.

Elven 3-band types of EQ are available for each Zero8 input channel. EQ types include typical EQ curves tuned to a particular musical genre. The Zero8 proveds three independent effects processors each with five efects types: Channel Effect for inserting into a mixer channel, Send Effect applied to the send sound of each mixer channel, and a Master effect applied to the master bus.

Fader / crossfader curved parameters are provided so you can create fader curves and crossfader curves to transition between audio sources. The Zero8 has a built-in audio BPM detector. Tap tempo alone or in conjunction with auto BPM. The Zero8 contains 8 push knob MIDI controllers assignable to switch and encoder operations. The Zero8 alos features a touch view LCD that functions as a display as well as for parameter edition.
