Hey Man in the Jar and other guitar gurus, I have a quandry!

I want a semi, for low volume strumming at night, and amp fun when everyone is awake - but what do I buy - the Epiphone Wildcat or the gorgeous Yamaha SA503 TLV ??
If it was on looks the yammy would have it , but having played neither, I'm undecided.
I have played an 80's MIJ Casino, which I liked - which one is best likened to this?

Thanks People!

Although that Yamaha looks the dog's danglies I would have to go for the WildKat. I've got mine hung on my wall as I write and I was smitten right from first pluck!

Bear in mind the WildKat is a rock n' roll guitar of the old skool variety and as such it has a chunky neck and really needs heavier gauge strings to get the best out of it. I suspect the Yamaha will have a slimmer neck (if that's an important consideration for you). The Yamaha is definitely closer to the Casino you mentioned in most characteristics.

Thanks for your help, MITJ.
I played acoustically the yam and an Epi Dot in my local shop - I hate to admit it, the Epi sounded sweeter unamplified and semmed to have a better tone. I'm guessing the wildkat will be made of similar woods and, as I'll be doing a lot of quiet playing with the semi, I really have to consider Epiphone now.
