| Anyone recommend a small, pedal that'll get that twangy, surf, Dick Dale type sound going? I'm new to all this but someone mentioned that Danelectro do one but couldn't remember what model it was. Also how do you guys rate the Uni-Vibe ?

| The Zoom G2 will produce an excellent 'surf sound' reverb (the sound of the Fender Reverberator with the springs overdriven). The great thing about the Zoom is that you can build your own sounds by programming the modules and a 'surf reverb' is based around these settings MOD/SFX (tE) 4,36,72 DELAY (EC) 6,38,44 REVERB (HL) 13,6,78.
I got my G2 from iMuso (where else?) about 18 months ago and since then my old pedal board full of Boss, Coloursound, Electro-harmonix, etc has been unused. I replicated all the sounds from those old pedals on the G2 (and it's got a guitar / bass tuner AND a drum machine / metronome as well). I had to pay more than you will because the price has come down to £48.99.
