Well I recently got myself an Epiphone Valve junior and I've gotta say Valve sound does indeed sound nice.

but well with lack of EQ on the amp I can't really achieve the tones that I want, so I've been looking into EQ pedals

I've seen the Danelectro Fish & Chips and was wondering whether it's actually any good?

and also does it have a socket for an AC adaptor?

I've never tried that one but I do have a lot of those little Dano pedals. They are good basic units that work well for the price. And yes they do have AC adaptors, sold separately I believe.

Danelectro pedals are ok, and they tend to be less noisy than the behringer equivalents in my expereince (although tend to have less controls)

the pedals are ok but they do drain batterys so quick! so if you do get one deff get a power supply
