Well, i love it, plugged in it is beautiful, unplugged it sounds just as good, although it is a bit more tinny than expected (im not experienced with semis so i wouldn't know). The included gigbag is amazing aswell, surprisingly, seeing as it is free.

The one semi that I get to play fairly regularly (a vintage thing that my father in law bought in the 60s) sounds pretty tinny acoustically as well. I get the impression that it's common for semis to sound like that, although I don't have the experience to say for certain!

Perfectly natural for a semi to have only slightly more unplugged volume and tone than a solid guitar. Neither is designed to be played acoustically.
