| Just seen this new speaker cab, and it seems like the ideal solution for my needs. iMuso have them in stock, so this seems like the best place to discuss them! Basically, it all looks good, great price, good specs, good size. But I'm wondering how much they weigh? It doesn't say in the specs here, or on Laney's website. Any chance anyone could find out?
Basically, my horrendously complex rig at the moment consists of a rack full of gear, Peavey JSX and XXX heads (both running at 60w rather than 120w), a Peavey XXX 412 cab and a Laney GS412LA Tony Iommi cab. The Laney cab's great, sounds fantastic and is pretty portable, but is only mono, and the Peavey cab's too big and too heavy (I have a back problem). So if these cabs are as good as I think they'll be, I'll sell both my 4x12s and buy a couple of these 2x12 cabs. From iMuso, of course!

| Cheers, TMitJ  I've emailed Laney to ask them as well. Obviously I'd need to sell my existing cabs to be in a position to buy, but I've never had too much trouble flogging stuff on evilBay.

| Thanks, that definitely seems more manageable. The Laney 4x12 is about 32kg, and it's liftable, but not fun. The Peavey 4x12 is 43kg, which is just insane! Sounds great though.
EDIT: Just heard back from Roger Hickman at Laney, who claims the GS212IE is only 20kg... even better
