This may be the only time I could give 90% of my earnings away in agents' fees, and still end up no worse off

Yo Uke Man you greedy swine! Tell you what happened to me yesterday bro!

I was working the streets with my old 'zouki and up comes this Yank with a wad of fivers in his hand and asked me to play a jazz chord. Well, man. a jazz chord on a 'zouki! Is he kidding?

So I thinks real cool. I plays a smooth Amaj7.
He said: "No, no ,no!" Must have been an Amy Whinehouse fan.

Anyway, I carry on playing like real peaches covered in whipped cream. Charlie Mingus had nothin' on me. Then I tried an improvisation thing. Sharpened 9ths, diminished 5ths, flattened 9th with augumented 5ths which is no easy thing on a 'zouki.

He didn't like that either. "No, no, no, no, noooooo! A jazz chord. You know, "A jazz chord, to say I love you!"

Good luck man - radical
