Neither of these record im afraid, however they can be hooked up to devices that can.

The floor pod is a good peice of kit.

What purpose do you plan to use a moddler and what amo are you using. These are to questions that should help us, help you decide.

So.....?

well i just need in for cool effects like mad stuff like insane, but i was thinking of one which is good for just house hold use and has a power supply but with like i said cool effects. My amp has 2x30w speakers in it with a midi control for moddeling effects it has quite a few effects actually but i want one with more heavy effects and that make your guitar screech if you know what i mean lol

Im thinking of getting the floor pod since the other one looks too plasticy and i think it doesnt come with a power supply.

If i were you i wouldnt get a moddler as such, id go for a multi effects. (if u want i can elaborate on the differences)

To be specific id go for a boss me-50.

if you just want differnt amps sounds go for a amp modeller but if you want both effects like flange, phaser, chorus, delay ect... plus amp sounds go for a multi fx pedal. personaly i find the boss me- 50 overdrives sounds a bit to fake and simulated at high gain settings tho. try stuff before you buy tho
