Similar in tone to an Ibanez S, the Ibanez SAS32 FM mahogany body gives a warm sustained sound, but with a standard, flat back. A 25.5" scale set neck offers the narrow feel and tight tension similar to a Ibanez RG.

The Ibanez SAT trem system offers wide pitch spacing for better response. Only the front section of the 2pc saddle raises, the back section remains locked, for more stable intonation. The Pop-in trem arm is swing tension adjustable.
