The Roland VG99 V-Guitar guitar synth processor will transform your electric guitar into almost any guitar you can imagine! Electric and acoustic guitar tones and the best amps and effects from the last few decades!

The Roland VG-99 guitar modelling synth adds to the legacy of the Roland VG-8, allowing you to play guitar at an entirely new level. The Roland VG-99 V-Guitar Multi-Effects Processor has three powerful processors at its core, plus expressive performance controls such as Ribbon Controller and D BEAM. Flexible digital and analogue output options allow for easy implementation for both stage and studio, and highlights such as an onboard guitar-to-MIDI converter and on-screen editor let you take your guitar capabilities to new heights with the Roland VG-99.

ROLAND VG-99 V-GUITAR PROCESSOR MULTI-MODELLING

The Roland VG-99 contains a wide range of guitars and amplifier models including new electric, acoustic and bass guitar models, a new GR-300 synth wave, and even models two signal paths at once. For example, one virtual guitar could be a humbucker-equipped electric and the other a nylon-string guitar. Add to this the sound of the actual guitar being played, and it's possible to simultaneously have the sound of three different guitars playing simultaneously.

ROLAND VG-99 V-GUITAR MULTI-EFFECTS PROCESSOR DYNAMIC CONTROL

Modeled guitar, amp and effects paths can be active at the same time, or they can be dynamically switched or blended. Guitarists can control the switching behavior between virtual guitars and/or amps by foot controllers, buttons on the unit, or according to picking dynamics.

ROLAND VG-99 V-GUITAR MULTI-EFFECTS PROCESSOR ALTERNATE TUNINGS

The Roland VG-99 Multi-Effects Processor can produce custom tunings, anything the player desires on any virtual guitar. For example, a virtual Les Paul could be tuned down four or five steps for a heavy sound, while a nylon string could be tuned as a 12-string, and also tuned down four or five steps at the same time. Open and drop tunings are also supported as well as user defined custom tunings and can be applied to any COSM guitar, so the player can switch instantly between tuning setups without physically switching guitars or having to manually retune.

ROLAND VG-99 V-GUITAR MULTI-EFFECTS PROCESSOR ON STAGE

With a new performance based design, the Roland VG-99 guitar processor can be placed within a player's easy reach on stage by using an optional PDS-10 stand. This new style setup allows various new performance possibilities such as D BEAM, Ribbon Controller and more. In combination with the versatile FC-300 foot controller, the Roland VG-99 takes your guitar performance on stage to a whole new dimension. The VG-99 synthesizer includes an onboard guitar-to-MIDI converter for direct connection to keyboards, sound modules and soft synths, a S/PDIF digital out and a USB port for direct audio and MIDI connection to computers. Built in stereo XLR and 1/4" outputs are ideal for live stage performances and touring. The Roland VG-99 also boasts an intuitive and state-of-the-art on-screen patch editor.
