LINE 6 BASS PODXT LIVE IN AND OUTPUTS
USB: Use the included USB cable to connect the Line 6 Bass PODxt Live to your computer's recording software package. You can download the required driver software by using the free Line 6 Monkey software, which you can download at www.line6.com/monkey.
VARIAX DIGITAL INPUT: Connect a Line 6 Variax 700 Bass guitar to a Line 6 Bass PODxt Live with the Line 6 Variax Digital Cable, you can also recall all the effects, pickups, tone control setting plus amp and guitar selections that make up your custom sound simply by selecting a new channel from your Line 6 Bass PODxt Live's footswitches. The Digital Cable also provides a digital audio connection between your Line 6 Variax and the Line 6 Bass PODxt Live, and supplies power to your Line 6 Variax 700 Bass guitar.
MIDI IN AND OUT: Connect Line 6 Bass PODxt Live to your MIDI equipment to select Channel Memories via Program Change messages, or automate Bass PODxt Live settings via controllers and/or SySex.
PHONES: Plug in headphones and the Line 6 PODxt Live automatically switches to Studio Mode.
OUTPUT TO AMP/LINE: An unbalanced 1/4-inch connector feeds the Line 6 Bass PODxt Live into the front of a bass amp. LINE output goes via the rear panel LEVEL knob. The MODEL connector outputs the fully processed Amp+Cab+Effects+Mic signal generated by Bass PODXT Live. The D.I. connector outputs an unprocessed time- and phase-aligned version of your signal.
AUX INPUT: Connect a CD player, MP3 player, drum machine, or whatever here, and you'll hear it at Bass PODXT Live's headphone and Amp/Line outputs, allowing you to jam along.
PEDAL 2: Add even more real-time control by connecting a standard expression pedal. You'll be able to control Wah, Volume, and Tweak functions all at the same time.
