Outputing more than twice the maximum output of the original Pro Co Rat, the Turbo RAT is hard-clipping while the mid-range frequencies are slightly sccoped. With a less compressed signal, the Turbo Rat has a brighter tone.

With a maximum output of 2.8 volts peak to peak, the Pro Co Turbo Rat puts out twice the level of the Rat 2 distortion pedal. The Pro Co Turbo Rat is the most intense pedal in the Rat familty. Even with the increased output, the hard-clipping harmonic distortion of the classic ProCo Rat has been perserved.

The Pro Co Turbo Rat has the same easy to use, smooth variable controls for distortion amount, filter cutoff, and volume leve. Set the amount of overdrive, tune in the presence and you're gone. The ProCo Turbo Rat features the legendary Rat filter control: turn to the right to roll off briddle high-end frequencies, or turn the filter down to allow the natural brightness of your guitar to cut throught the mix.
