The Akai E2 Headrush provides multiple great sounding effects
from one rugged blue stombox. Besides an astonishing 23.8
seconds maximum delay time, the Akai E2 Headrush is also a
fully functional looper, making it simple for guitarists, bass
players, and even vocalists to overdub and layer performances.
The Akai E2 Headrush also includes a 4-head analogue tape echo
simulator with four individual outputs for each head. If you're
looking for useful and versatile delay, echo and looping
effects, the Akai E2 Headrush belongs on your pedal
board.
Developed from the Akai E1 Headrush, the Akai E2 Headrush delay
effects stompbox brings together 16-bit digital delay with
times from 0.5 ms to an astonishing 23.8 seconds, tape echo
simulations with 4 separate heads, and a looping recorder in
one convenient effects pedal. The Akai E2 Headrush will be used
live by guitar and bass players, as well as vocalists, as the
looping recorder with unlimited overdubs creates elaborate solo
performances.
User selectable delay options on the Akai E2 Headrush allow for
maximum control of signal output and include several real-time
timing and level adjustment selections as well as feedback
level for repeats.
AKAI E2 HEADRUSH AND ANALOGUE TAPE ECHO
The Akai E2 Headrush can also simulate a 4-head analogue
tape echo machine and it is possible to set the spacing between
these 'virtual' heads to create complex multiple delays and
repeats. The looping mode allows you to record and overdub
layer after layer of sound in real time making Headrush an
unbelievable live performance tool. You can also set the decay
characteristics of the 4 heads. Furthermore, the outputs of
each of these virtual heads appear on individual outputs for
ultimate flexibility when used with an external mixing
console.
AKAI E2 HEADRUSH LOOPING RECORDER
The LOOPING RECORDER mode allows you to record and overdub
layer after layer of sound in real-time making the Akai
Headrush an unbelievable live performance tool.
Depending upon which mode is selected on the Akai E2 Headrush,
the left footswitch controls the on/off and play/stop functions
while the right footswitch sets the tap delay time or recording
and overdub options. The LED display indicates which effect in
use and blinks in time showing the delay time selected.
