All you need is a guitar and the Boss ME-25 guitar multi-effects pedal and you're ready to gig and to record. The Boss ME-25 compact multi-effect pedal is loaded with the effects to write, cover, and gig in any style possible. In addition to compression, distortion, overdrive, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary, octave , delay, reverb effects there's even a built-in looper so you can stack sounds or build up one-man-band songs with the BOSS ME-25.

For the price of just a couple of stompboxes the Boss ME-25 multi-effects pedal delivers Boss's best effect tones and COSM amp models. Plus, you can customize the way you sound just by twisting the Drive, Tone, and Volume knobs on the Boss ME-25 pedal.

Once you've settled on a sound or riff, the Boss ME-25 is ready to record. You have two options. First use the built-in 38-second looper with the ability to record, then work on a second guitar part, lead, or solo over the top of it. Second, the ME-25 features a USB connection and works as an audio recording interface. Use the ME-25 pedal with the included Cakewalk SONAR 8.5 LE software or other software program. The Boss ME-25 guitar multi-effects pedal can be powered via an optional AC mains adapter or six AA batteries. The Boss ME-25 will play continuously for approximately 9 hours with Alkaline batteries.

The built-in Sound Library software gives access to presets from clean to heavy, 6 categories with 10 sound variations per category. The free downloadable Librarian software allows you to save your favorite presets to your computer, rather than only to the only to the ME-25. The Boss ME-25 multi-effects pedal features a built-in aux input for practicing with an iPod, a CD player or MP3 player.
