Celebrating Orange Amp's 40th anniversary, the 50-watt Class-AB Orange OR50H 40th Graphic guitar head amp re-take of the Orange 1972s Pics Only amps, nicknamed the 'pics-only' model due to the lack of faceplate lettering. Back then guitar players were less literate than now, hence the pictures only graphics. Complete with footswitchable Master Volume function, Gain, a 3-band EQ, one channel with three gains stages and a patent-applied-for output transformer, plus a reworked version of the HF Drive that gave the original Orange Graphic head amps their chime and presence. Not a reissue, the Orange OR50H uses the best of historic Orange designs like point-to-point wiring and printed circuit boards, and adds modern technology like the HF Drive control. Turned clockwise the HF Drive control increases the OR50H presence for an extra demension of power amp gain. The Orange OR50 guitar head amp is all valve, powered by 2 x ECC83 preamp valves and 2 x EL34 power amp vlaves.
